Some of Ms. Kingston's accomplishments include:
• Developed corporate and media sponsorships: She secured $450,000 annually
to fund the city-wide beautification program.
• Directed a large city department: As Director of Cultural and Recreational
Services for the municipality of Anchorage, Ms. Kingston managed a $20
million budget and over 250 employees. She oversaw the Museum, Library
system, Parks and Recreation, Beautification and the Arts and Culture
grants program.
• Managed large volunteer grass roots efforts: She led a $1 million
fundraising campaign to build a downtown Town Square Park.
