Gift Cents, Inc. is a scrip center located on the east coast, which offers gift cards and gift certificates (scrip) to local, regional, and national retailers, to be used as a fundraising tool for non-profit organizations.
This unique program requires no solicitation, no door-to-door selling, and no donations for unwanted items. Instead, participants use gift cards or gift certificates to buy items they would ordinarily buy or to give as gifts. Your organization receives a percentage of each sale!
We pride ourselves on the personal attention that every order receives. Our monthly newsletter, GIFT CENTS NEWS, offers helpful suggestions on how to promote the program and increase sales, reminders of upcoming holidays and events, announcements of new merchants and special promotions, and helpful information to make your scrip program successful.
There are no hidden fees, no hidden costs, and no minimums. Use it as a one-time fundraiser, or as an ongoing effort. We offer a wide variety of merchants, and if you don't see your favorite on the list, ask for it! We'll do our best to make it available to you.
Gift Cents Scrip purchases gift certificates and gift cards in quantity from local, regional and national establishments at a discount. Your organization purchases these gift cards from Gift Cents Scrip at a discount, as well. Your supporters buy the certificates from you at face value, and the difference between the discounted price and the face value is your profit. Participants receive dollar for dollar value on their purchases, and your organization makes a percentage of each sale! It's that easy!
